Executive Committee / Comité de direction
The Executive Committee provides leadership to Council, facilitates the efficient and effective functioning of Council, and makes decisions between Council meetings.
The Executive considers all matters with respect to incapacity, and also reviews the results of investigations into professional misconduct and incompetence. The Executive can make referrals to both the Fitness to Practise and Discipline Committees, and may order an interim suspension in either case if it believes that harm might result if the member continues to practise while awaiting the outcome of a hearing.
The 2007-2008 committee members are:
