2008 Nomination Information
OverviewIn April 2008, RNs and RPNs from the Eastern, Northwestern and Northeastern districts will elect new Council and Committee members. These new members will serve for three years – until June 2011. The Candidate Consent and Nomination Form was sent to all members eligible to participate in the election with the September issue of The Standard; it can also be downloaded from the website. The Election Timetable, below, outlines the major steps in the election process. The electoral districts and numbers of members to be elected from each district are also described below. The election is conducted by mail. Voting is by secret ballot, and the results are tabulated by an independent company.
