Council Motions

March 8, 2007

  1. That CNO participate in inter-professional consultation and undertake an active campaign to educate all members about the importance of having professional liability coverage, and that the issue of mandatory liability coverage for nurses be considered again by Council when the Provincial Blueprint for Interprofessional Care is released.
  2. That the Practical Nurse Program at Georgian College be approved for a 5 year term, until March 2012.
  3. That Council ratify the appointment of Monina Lim-Serrano to the Registration Committee until June 2007.
  4. That the unaudited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2006 be accepted.
  5. That the appointment of Barb Hood, Marilyn Lambert and Kim Pederson as scrutineers for the June 2007 election of officers be ratified.
  6. That Council ratify the appointment of S. Brewer, K. Cook, R. Graham, K. Harder, M. McGinn and R. Woods as the 2007 Election and Appointments Committee.
