The following examinations have been approved for Ontario NP candidates applying to the College of Nurses of Ontario for the Paediatrics specialty certificate:

The Pediatric Nursing Certification Board
You have up to three attempts to pass this exam.
The first step in applying to write this exam is to go online and apply for a Nurse Practitioner Certificate of Registration. Once you have done this, you can then apply for the exam by:
- Reading the Canadian Council of Registered Nurse Regulators' fact sheet titled, Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Exam.
- Completing the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board's disclosure of information form. Email the completed form to cno@cnomail.org, stating "NP Exam Consent Form" in the subject line of your email.
Certification Examination for Nurse Practitioners Specializing in Neonatology
