Applying for Reinstatement

All requests for reinstatement begin with the member or former member contacting the College to request reinstatement of a certificate of registration

Once the College has received the request, it will send the forms needed to begin the reinstatement process.

The time it takes to complete the reinstatement process will vary depending on the applicant’s individual circumstances. Factors that may affect the length of time it takes to be reinstated include:

  • the time it takes to resolve the issue(s) that caused the member's original certificate to be revoked, expired or resigned, in the case of former members requesting re-admission to the College

  • the length of time involved in submitting the application forms, fees and third-party verification for evaluation by the College.

Once the College has determined that all requirements have been met, reinstatement will be completed within 15 business days starting from the date the College receives all required forms, fees and supporting documents.

Reinstatement applicants can confirm their reinstated status by going to Find a Nurse and searching under their names or registration numbers.
