This Teleconference will focus on a discussion of the “Maintaining Boundaries” standard statement in the College’s Therapeutic Nurse-Client Relationship practice standard. Nurses are responsible for effectively establishing and maintaining the limits or boundaries of the therapeutic nurse-client relationship. The presentation will help participants set and maintain boundaries, reflect and think critically about nursing relationships with clients. and feel confident that the relationships are therapeutic and focused on the needs of clients. The teleconference is aimed at all nurses.

Participants should review the Therapeutic Nurse- Client Relationship, Revised 2006 document.
