We've got resources for you

Got a question about nursing practice and aren’t sure where to find the answer? The Educational Tools section of the College’s website is a good place to start. There you’ll find many resources to help you understand and apply the standards and guidelines in your day-to-day practice.

If reading is your favourite style of learning, check out Ask Practice. It features many questions from nurses answered by the College’s Practice Consultants/Liaisons, and is updated on a regular basis.

If self-study and application is more your style, try a Learning Module. Covering a variety of topics, each module contains an introduction, learning objectives, content chapters, resources and a quiz.

Or maybe you prefer an audio-visual approach. If so, webcasts are for you. Webcasts are presentations about current regulatory issues and the role the College plays in nursing regulation. They cover topics like controlled acts, RN and RPN practice and the therapeutic nurse-client relationship.

If you can’t find the answers you need in the self-directed tools, contact our Practice Support Line to speak directly to a Practice Liaison. Or connect with the Outreach Program, which supports nurses with resources and consultations based on the unique needs of their different practice sectors.
