The College alleged that the Member abused 14 clients verbally, physically or emotionally and engaged in conduct or performed an act, relevant to the practice of nursing, that, having regard to all the circumstances, would reasonably be regarded by members as disgraceful, dishonourable or unprofessional by administering overdoses of insulin with the intent to harm and/or cause their death.

The Member did not attend the hearing. The Panel found that the Member committed professional misconduct as alleged, and that her conduct would be regarded by members of the profession to be disgraceful, dishonourable and unprofessional.
