The College alleged that the Member engaged in professional misconduct by: sexually abusing a client; contravening a standard of practice of the profession or failing to meet the standards of practice of the profession when he failed to maintain the boundaries of the therapeutic nurse-client relationship by touching a client in a sexual manner; and engaging in conduct that, having regard to all the circumstances, would reasonably be regarded by members of the profession as disgraceful, dishonourable and unprofessional.

The Member did not attend the hearing.

The Panel found that the Member committed the acts of professional misconduct as alleged. The Panel found that the Member engaged in conduct that, having regard to all circumstances, would reasonably be regarded by members of the profession as disgraceful, dishonourable and unprofessional.

The Panel ordered an oral reprimand and directed the Executive Director to immediately revoke the Member’s certificate of registration.
