Vendor selected for NP Practice Analysis
The Canadian Council of RN Regulators (CCRNR) is pleased to announce that Professional Examination Service (ProExam) is the successful vendor following its request for proposals for completion of a Nurse Practitioner (NP) Practice Analysis.
In November 2013, CCRNR -- an organization made up of representatives from Canada’s 12 provincial/territorial bodies that regulate the practice of registered nurses, including the College of Nurses of Ontario -- announced that it had launched a project called the Nurse Practitioner Practice Analysis in order to analyse nurse practitioner practice across Canada.
The Nurse Practitioner Practice Analysis will provide a comprehensive description of NP practice in Canada, which will inform future decisions about entry-to-practice exams and permit CCRNR members to develop consistent requirements for licensure or registration across the country.
