Membership Statistics Report
The College publishes annual membership statistics reports to ensure access to timely and accurate data about Ontario nurses. These reports contain detailed practice and employment information about Registered Nurses (RNs), Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs), also referred to as Registered Nurses in the Extended Class [RN(EC)s].
Trends in General Class New Members Report
New members are vital to increasing the nursing labour pool in Ontario and helping to mitigate the effects of attrition caused by retirement and labour mobility. These reports show the age, gender and location of initial nursing education of new RNs and RPNs in Ontario.
Nursing Registration Exams Report
As part of the registration process, applicants must successfully complete a national registration examination.
The following report provides information about the number of applicants who attempted the exams and the
number that passed.
Applicants Summary
Applicants are individuals who have begun the registration process by completing an application form and paying an application fee to the College.The following document uses the most recent available data to summarize the number of applicants to the College’s General and Extended classes.
