Michigan English Language Battery (MELAB) (www.lsa.umich.edu/eli/melab.htm)

The MELAB is designed to measure proficiency in the four basic language skill areas: writing, listening, reading and speaking. The entire MELAB takes between 2.5 to 3.5 hours.
