What's New
Extended Class Registration Examination update
The Canadian Nurses Association recently announced the first national exam to be used for the credentialing of nurse practitioners. Ontario will continue to use the Extended Class Registration Examination (ECRE) for assessment of entry into the Extended Class. The ECRE has proven reliable and valid.
In keeping with Ontario legislation, applicants must meet all eligibility requirements to write the Extended Class examination. For the RN(EC) registration requirements, click here.
