NPs
Seeking NPs
The College is seeking Nurse Practitioners (NPs) in a range of settings, practice environments and roles to develop Quality Assurance Program assessment tools for NPs.
For example, volunteers may be asked to participate in the development of blueprints for an objective test, provide feedback on criteria for assessing NP competencies, or review QA Program-related materials or tools.

RPN
RPNs can now initiate certain controlled act procedures
(May 16, 2006) Recently, the government passed changes to the Nursing Act, 1991, which allow RPNs in Ontario to initiate certain controlled act procedures.
