Review Tool: Medication
Use this review tool to assess your knowledge of medication administration and reflect on your practice.
The tool is based on the College’s Medication, Revised 2008 practice standard, relevant legislation, as well as other College practice standards and guidelines. It has two parts.
- Part I contains reflective statements and questions.
- Part II explains the rationale for the reflective statements in Part I and provides the answers to the questions.
The Medication Review Tool is intended for self-directed learning; after finishing, do not send it to the College. You can use this tool as part of your practice review, or for Quality Assurance or professional development. You may also find it useful if you are developing medication policies, or advocating for revisions to existing policies or procedures.
