How do I request a verification of current licensure (or "endorsement") if I want to work in another province or country?

Mail or fax (do not e-mail) the College a written request with the following information:

  1. First and last name
  2. Registration number
  3. Name and location of school of nursing
  4. Date of graduation
  5. Date of Birth
  6. Date of Canadian Examination
  7. Mailing address
  8. Telephone number
  9. Your signature authorizing the release of your registration history and examination scores.
  10. The name and address of the jurisdiction to which the information should be mailed.
  11. Preferred method for delivering the endorsement to the jurisdiction, such as regular mail, fax or courier.
  12. A fee of $15.75 payable by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cheque or money order.

Processing time is 10 business days from the day the College receives your request. The endorsement can be returned by fax or overnight courier. Check with the jurisdiction to which you are applying as to the means of delivery that are acceptable. The charge for faxing is $5.25 and couriers to the US are $25.00. If you choose one of these delivery options, add this charge to the $15.75 fee payment. All prices include GST.
