Practical nursing program approval results

The results of the College’s annual review of practical nursing programs are now available.

One of our roles in protecting the public is to make sure practical nursing programs in Ontario prepare graduates with the knowledge, skill and judgment they need to practise as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN). This involves a regular review of each program’s curriculum, key performance indicators and exam results.

Based on the reviews, a program is given a status of Approved, Approved with Conditions or Not Approved.

The 2016 practical nursing program review is complete. See the status of each program
