This session brings together CNO’s regulatory perspective and RNAO’s best practice guidelines (BPG) to explore how nursing documentation accountabilities are applied in LTC, and how the evidence plays a critical role in supporting clinical reasoning and defensible practice.

- Key expectations under CNO’s revised Documentation Standard
- The role of employer policies, professional judgment and evidence in documentation
- How RNAO BPGs support evidence-informed documentation
